Paintbox's Eleanor Langston

To kick-off the launch of The Dandy Shop, we spoke with Paintbox founder Eleanor Langston about her favorite new nail polishes and nail care tips. Share some of your go-to Paintbox polishes:

I’ve been LOVING Like Magic. It’s the easiest way to mimic nail art. Like Desire is seriously the perfect cherry-red color. And our Like Glass top coat makes your nails look super glossy. If you’re into a more matte look, I like the Like Fog top coat.

What's your take on cutting cuticles at home?

You should only push back your cuticles, unless you have obvious hangnails that need trimming.

Your glitter polishes are incredible. Do you have any other exciting specialty collections coming out soon? Also, what skin tones look the best with which each glitter polish?

We just launched our SS20 Power Couple: Like Flora, a flattering peach + Like Lush, a golden green. And then for glitters, Like Magic enhances all skin tones since it’s a champagne color with holographic flecks. Like Future is a dynamic silver for fair/medium tone and Like Spark is a warm copper that looks great on medium to deeper tones.
